Lost Soul Aside has been off the radar for some time, but developer UltiZero Games recently made headlines by presenting this eagerly awaited action RPG at ChinaJoy 2024. Attendees were treated to an extensive glimpse into the game’s dynamic gameplay.
Drawing inspiration from popular titles such as Final Fantasy 15 and Devil May Cry, Lost Soul Aside is designed to deliver captivating real-time character action with intense combat experiences against various formidable foes. During the live gameplay demonstration at ChinaJoy, viewers were first introduced to a tutorial that outlined the fundamental combat mechanics. This was followed by a thrilling boss battle that showcased the game’s swift, stylish, and aggressive fighting style.
In addition to the live demo, over 20 minutes of gameplay footage from the previous year's ChinaJoy event also garnered attention.
Lost Soul Aside is currently under development for PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. While a specific release date has yet to be revealed, the game received a rating in China earlier this year, which indicates that its launch may be on the horizon.
